Game Notes

- Basic Game Info -

I personally own Need For Speed 3, and I thought it was a great game. So when I heard Need For Speed 4 came out I went and got it. At first the game caught my attention right away, it had a awesome choice of cars. Lots of different options to race. High Pursuit,Tournaments,Special Events etc.. The 2 player mode features a neat option where you and your friend can race for pink slips using your memory card, so if you both have good cars saved on your memory card, the winner gets the car that was on the losers car's memory card, The losers car also is delete from his card so he has to start all over like in real life. Total of 19 Cars to pick from. 7 Tracks.

- Highs -

Great Hot Pursuit Option, the police voices make it more fun since you know what they are planning next. The Game has a Option to Change your music Track while you drive , a little Virtual CD Changer in the car. The Game has neat little features like being able to turn on/off your lights , using your turning signals etc. The game also features something I think should be in every game , Car Damage, because come on accidents happen, so when your car flips 6 times and doesn't get a scratch , you know something is wrong.

- Lows -

Not enough Tracks to start out with, Slow Cars. Slow loading. The Frame rate is slow, you don't feel like your really going 200, seems like 50. The Tournament mode is also hard , by the time you finally win some races the game gets boring. A sad total of only 7 Tracks in the entire game.

- Overall -

Worth the get, It isn't the best racer out there but defenetly one of the best for the 2 player mode. Its a good game if you want to mess around a bit, trying to create head on collisions and see how much damage you can cause. Personally I liked Nfs3 better but this game is still worth the try.
