- Basic Game Info -Most people when hear of Water games they usually would think it had something to do With Jet Moto or something like that. Well not this Game. Dead In the Water is a Game about a Tournament held for the worlds best and most dangerous Boat Drives who get together and compete in a Boat shooting and racing game. Kind of reminds you of Mortal Kombat or something. But Since this is one of the first boat shooter games I have Seen I figured why not try it? So I did, and here's what I think.- Highs -Tons of Fun for those Multiplayer games, when you got some friends over its one of the best games to play. Cool Heavy Metal Music, although I ain't a fan of Hard Metal it kind of suits the style of gaming and makes it more enjoyable. Lots of different characters to choose from and lots of different tracks. Another Great feature is that there is a store, and before every race you can buy Armor Upgrades, Weapon Upgrades, Acceleration Upgrades etc.. You can even buy some Dice for your Mirror.The Game also only takes 1 memory Card Block which is good since allot of the newer games all take 5 or so. The Tracks are really well done, some with Ramps and some with Water Falls where you can make huge jumps .- Lows -Lots of Graphic Gliches, for example sometimes when take a jump from a large water fall onto water, the ship goes just enough under water that the camera changes to going under the water, the bad thing about that is that the whole screen is like black and Glitches, you just see your boat. The Loading time on this game is really slow, Not as bad as Nhl99 or something but its still a bit annoying. The Graphics in this Game Aren't the nieces colors but the water looks pretty sweet.- Overall -A Great overall game, worth the try and it is probably one of the better games in my collection. If you play lots of Multiplaying games with your friends this is allot of fun battling it out. A way better game then Twisted Metal 3 or any other Shooter Games. I heard that possible Vigilante 8 was a great game , either way At the moment I'm having lots of fun with this one. |
