This was the beginning to a series of games which were in my opinion the best series ever made for nintendo. The story of a cyborg created by two scientists, one of which takes it's technonlogy and creates more similar robots, who prove to be inferior to it's original. The Mega Man series turns out to be an interpretation of the neverending battle between good (Dr. Light and Mega Man) and evil (Dr. Willy and his creations).

The original mega man was created to test your patients, or so it would seem. The task of getting through the level and still haveing enough life left at the end to be able to beat the final guy or boss. Ultimately the final evil of this game is beaten, only to come back with more and more robots to attempt to conquire the world.
