1942 is a shoot'em up game, well sort of. You are a fighter plane from world war I. The object of this game is to get to the end of the stage with out being killed by your enemies. This game has about 32 levels of button mashing, hand hurting fun!

There are a few ups and downs of this game. Ups: Soild game for a few hours, easy game play, controls are easy, no backround music, clear graphics, normal frame rate. Downs: Sound is bad, no multiplayer, no story line, no password system, too easy. 1942 could have been much better if they had a story line, more than just using a plane, and adding a pass word system. This game is pretty solid for old school, I give it an 8/10.
