Following in the footsteps of Mario 64, Rares "Big Game" of 1999 trys to live up to the hype given to it. Has it? I have played this game and am very impressed. While following the tradition of "kiddy games" for the N64 by many peoples standards, I quite enjoyed this game. Anyone who says that it is kiddy and thats why they didn't like it, all I can think of is that they did not get into it enough. It may look kiddy but in fact it provides fun for all of the family including older players.

All you've got to do is forgive the look and look past the apperance, and get into it and I think you will quite enjoy it, especially if your a fan of platform games. The graphics are phenominal. Utilizing the N64 expansion pack the graphics are tweeked to look as beautiful as possible. The length of the game boggles the mind.

Not only does it take long to complete all the levels with Donkey Kong, but then you must go through each one with Lanky, Diddy, Tiny, and Chunky Kong. The time it takes to complete this game may deprive you of some free time, but playing it is well worth it. All together Id give this a 9.5 out of 10. Its great, and if you havent played it. I sugest you go out and rent it.
