Now I've seen some bad games in my time and this is one of them. I played this game way back in the arcades and I remembered it being good. So I downloaded it and fired it up on Mame. The title screen looked good and once I got into this game it was so bad and boring. All you do in this game is move up as a 3rd person view and shoot things. This game sounds good but its not like Cabal, or Blood Bros because you don't even have to shoot the enemies! You can just let the game run and you keep moving up intill the boss. Most of the bosses are the same mostly just tanks. What's even more worse about this game is that you only have a limited amount of continues (like Superman) which is very stupid for an arcade game.

The sound is bad it plays the same tune over and over and over (get it?). The gun sounds are the same for every gun they just get louder. The graphics aren't anything good, the characters look blurry and deformed. This game should have been made like Operation Wolf which was made 2 years earlier. Rambo III is heavily repetitive the stages look all the same just at different settings like the desert or mountains. The only high point of this game I can talk about is the control: Nice and Simple. Please save your time and do not download Rambo III.
