Game Notes

- Basic Game Info -

" Get ready for hardcore hoop-it-up action, coming at you on Sega Dreamcast at a blazing 60 frames per second. Put yourself in center court with high-res 3D graphics and real-life animated crowds cheering and jeering as you lead your team to victory. Ultra-realistic players were produced using over 1,300 motion-captured moves to create the most true-to-life action ever seen in virtual basketball. Slam dunk it with 10 seconds remaining, and watch the expressions of the other players react. "

- Highs -

  • Awsome Graphics showing the true power of the Dreamcast
  • Fast Easy Play, No waiting 2 Minutes for the computer to shoot 2 Free Throws.
  • Tons of different Dunks
  • On the VMU shows player Stats, Comments, Energy Guages and more.
  • Good Commentating

    - Lows -

  • Horrible Free Throw Mode system that makes it hard to get in. Like being Shaq all the time
  • Bad Blocking system. Its very easy to block someones shot or dunk, where normally it would be a huge foul.
  • Shaq making 3 Pointers! Whats that about ?
  • Saving takes 185 Memory Blocks. Not leaving any room for other games.
  • Not much else to say, this game is so great I wont complain.

    - Overall -

Best Basketball Game I've ever played on and System Period! Tons of Fun, and amazing that this was one of the original Dreamcast Releases. More Arcade like then the NBA Live season, which just makes it more fun then EA Sports version which tried to make it as realist as possible, where the fun level was just boring. This would be like a mix of NBA Jam and NBA Live at the perfect mix. Definetly a Game to pick up, unless you get 2k1.
