Crazy Taxi is based on the smash arcade hit. You pick between 4 different drivers each with a different type of skill like speed, handling, etc. You drive around to the music of The Offspring and Bad Religion that ads speed to the game. There is only 1 stage but with two different sections. There are two modes, original and arcade. There are few differences in the modes one of them is different streets, a few different places like in arcade there is a church, baseball stadium, the beach, and the station. In the original theirs a subway, train station, highway, you get the point? If you started in the arcade mode you would still be able to get to the original side of town.
The graphics in Crazy Taxi are pretty clear and fast. Not only do the characters look good the building and signs look very realistic. The music in Crazy Taxi is punk music which ads a kick into of the game. There are two groups featured The Offspring and Bad Religion but there is only four songs and they get repetitive. Crazy Taxi is a really fun game it offers a few mini games were you have to pick up customers within the time limit. Crazy Taxi gets boring in a month or so I dont really think the replay value is good but if you stop playing it for a few weeks and then play it again you'll get hooked on it.
Crazy Taxi is worth buying if you are a hardcore racing fan. Crazy Taxi is in stores now, you can get it for about $29.99 or you can go on ebay and buy it. Overall I think crazy taxi has a great appeal for gamers who just go for graphics.
| Graphics: 9 out of 10 | Sound: 7.5 out of 10 | Fun: 8.5 out of 10 | Replay: 7.5 out of 10 | Total: 32.5 out of 40 |
| Very nice clear, and fast graphics sometimes slow. | The Offspring and Bad Religion play throughout the stages but there is on 4 songs. | Crazy Taxi is fun for the first month and then when you stop you'll get hooked on it again. | There is not much replay value at all to crazy taxi. | A pretty solid tittle for the DC, but its not the greatest game ever made. |
